The Diabetology department at PKDIMS offers an empowering program for anyone diagnosed with diabetes and seeking a holistic, multi-disciplinary approach to well being. The centre treats many different complications of diabetes and diabetes-related disorders.

Diabetes Mellitus is a deadly disease which affects virtually every part of the body. Diabetes usually affects organs like:

Screening for Diabetes complications hence should be thorough and extensive. At PKDIMS we use the most modern equipments for such screening.

Diabetic Retinopathy Screening

Diabetic Heart Check Up

This is done through ECG, Treadmill, Echo and Cardiac Autonomic Neuropathy Screening.

4 times more vulnerable than non-diabetic patients, diabetics do not experience any chest pain at the time of an heart attack, hence it is vital for them to undergo a complete cardio work-up annually.

Diabetic Kidney Check Up

Diabetic Peripheral Vascular Screening

Diabetic Neuropathy Screening

Diabetic Foot Study
